Who is Mahala Textiles?

Founded in 2021, Mahala Textiles is a British fabric house that offers luxury, hand-crafted textiles for residential and commercial interiors. Alexandra, our founder, designs each fabric in Hampshire, and our master artisans in Suffolk and traditional workshops worldwide bring these designs to life. We focus on limited production to ensure exceptional quality and exclusivity, working closely with interior designers to provide materials that enhance every space.

How do you support interior designers?

We prioritise building lasting partnerships with interior designers. From helping you choose fabrics to offering bespoke design services, we work with you every step of the way. Designers can order samples via our website, and we provide full support for placing orders directly through us or via one of our global showroom partners. We understand the demands of a design project and are always available to offer guidance when you need it.

How much are your textiles?

The price of our fabrics varies depending on the design, material, and craftsmanship involved. For trade pricing, designers can contact us directly or visit one of our showroom partners for detailed quotes. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional quality and craftsmanship, reflected in every piece we produce. If you are a retail customer, please contact Zoe at zoe@mahalatextiles.com for pricing and availability.

are you a sustainable business?

Sustainability is central to Mahala Textiles. We use responsibly sourced natural fibres like linen, cotton, and wool, and our production methods minimise waste. Our processes include reverse osmosis for water purification, ensuring an eco-conscious approach. Additionally, we’ve been proud partners of Charity: Water since the business began, supporting clean water initiatives globally. How do I care for Mahala fabrics?

We recommend dry cleaning for our fabrics to maintain their quality and longevity. Upholstery fabrics benefit from regular light brushing or vacuuming. Each fabric is hand-crafted, and slight variations are part of the material’s authentic character, reflecting the artistry behind every metre.
